What the O-Level actually rewards

Syllabus-led and accuracy-first. The marks are spread across a lot of small, well-defined topics — which makes them exactly the kind of thing you can drill.

Coverage over speed

Unlike an aptitude test, the O-Level pace is generous. What separates grades is how many of the syllabus's small topics you've actually locked in — a forgotten formula or rule costs the same marks every paper.

Maths and Science are the widest nets

Elementary Maths and Pure Science between them touch dozens of distinct subtopics. That breadth is why a targeted drill list moves your grade more here than anywhere else on the paper.

Pure Science, three ways

Physics, Chemistry and Biology each contribute — from kinematics and electricity to bonding, reactions, genetics and human anatomy. Weak spots tend to sit in one or two of these, not spread evenly.

This mock focuses on the Maths and Science half of the O-Level.

  • Covers Elementary Mathematics (E-Maths), Pure Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English comprehension
  • Doesn't cover the writing, oral and listening papers, Additional Mathematics (A-Maths), Humanities and Mother Tongue

Timed, at syllabus pace

All three sections run back to back with per-section countdowns, at the O-Level's own generous timing. Your accuracy and seconds per question are recorded for every subtopic.

Or untimed, to learn

Take the same paper with no clock and read the explanation on every item as you go. Untimed attempts still record your per-subtopic accuracy, so you can see the gap before you close it.

Drill the subtopics behind the grade

Every O-Level-style question is tagged to one of our 58 subtopics, so a shaky paper becomes a specific, fixable list.

Know exactly where you stand

Every practice session and mock exam feeds into your personal progress dashboard.

O-Level mock exam FAQ

What subjects does the EdgePrep O-Level mock exam cover?

It covers the quantitative half of the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level: Elementary Mathematics (E-Maths), Pure Science — Physics, Chemistry and Biology — and English comprehension. It does not cover Additional Mathematics, the English writing, oral or listening papers, Humanities or Mother Tongue.

How long is the O-Level mock exam and how many questions is it?

The full mock is 115 questions over 3 hours: English comprehension (30 questions, 45 minutes), Elementary Maths (45 questions, 75 minutes) and Pure Science (40 questions, 60 minutes). You can also sit any one section on its own.

Is the O-Level mock exam free?

Yes. You can start a full-length O-Level mock for free — no card and no commitment. Paid plans add unlimited mocks and practice sessions.

Does the mock cover Additional Mathematics (A-Maths)?

No. EdgePrep currently supports Elementary Mathematics (E-Maths) only. Additional Mathematics is not included in the mock exam or the practice question bank.

Is this an online mock exam or a PDF download?

It is an interactive online mock you sit in the browser. Every question is auto-marked, and you get a written explanation on each one plus per-subtopic accuracy tracking. There is no PDF to print.

Can I take the O-Level mock untimed?

Yes. You can run the paper timed, at the O-Level's own pace, or untimed so you can read the explanation on every question as you go. Both modes record your per-subtopic accuracy.

How does EdgePrep help me improve my O-Level grade?

Every question is tagged to one of 58 subtopics. After a mock you get a subtopic-level breakdown showing exactly where you lost marks, then you drill those subtopics with focused practice sessions before the real paper.
